This is a format of pitching games, prototypes, or their ideas, where there is a conditional prosecutor and advocate for the project. โจIt's like a trendy verdict, but participants, along with the audience, decide what is already great in the game and how to make it even better.โจ

The goal of the workshop is to create a small game using the GameMaker Studio 2 engine. Throughout the process, participants will learn about the capabilities, advantages, and disadvantages of this game engine. This workshop is beneficial for beginner developers with minimal experience as well as those who are interested in exploring game development outside of Unity.
<aside> โ Requirements: Install the latest version of GameMaker Studio.

Workshop objective: Introduce participants to the wonderful world of materials in game engines and 3D packages. We will use Unreal Engine and Unity to explore Textures, UVs, and Masks. Together, we will create 3 materials that cover a wide range of shader workflows and enhance your skills to an 80th level (guaranteed). Additionally, our creations will be turned into VFX in the next part of the workshop. There will be two instructors who will provide individual real-time assistance with any difficulties.

Workshop objective: to show that VFX should not be feared! Together, we will create a special effect on Unreal Engine Niagara from scratch. We will discuss what emitters are, how to configure and combine them. Our project files will be available to you, so participation in the first part of the workshop, where we create templates, is not mandatory. By trying Niagara with us, you will be able to confidently venture into the realm of special effects! There will be two instructors who will individually assist with any difficulties in real-time.

Goal: Analyze the main mistakes when working in small teams in creating sound in a game and in real-time, sound out a scene in Unreal Engine with the participation of the audience. Together, we will create sound effects, implement them into the engine, in order to understand how sound affects player immersion and emotional perception of the game.
Will talk about game passes, deals - what's good and what's bad, and what you can expect. What types of publishers and funds exist. Will explain, without violating any NDA, the size of deals for big players, average percentages and requirements, and overall describe the financial state of the industry.
Will talk about what "game language" is in comparison to other types of media/art (literature, film, theater, etc.). Why this language is important, how to look at game development through this prism, rather than as a combination of separate disciplines (art, code, design, publishing). And how this will help achieve higher quality design and production overall.
